All-Night Marathon: Vinegar Syndrome Spooktacular

Can you stay up all night with Vinegar Syndrome? Time to find out! This marathon, programmed by Vinegar Syndrome staff member Justin LaLiberty, will take a five film tour (all horror) through the decade long output of one of the most eclectic home video labels in the world. Each film will remain a mystery until it hits the screen of The Plaza but you will see: gore from around the world, hours of practical DIY special effects, plenty of intentional (and unintentional) humor and, of course, a healthy dose of erotica. This show is not for the faint of heart! Come early to shop the Vinegar Syndrome pop-up shop in the lobby and also try your hand at winning rare items during giveaways before each film! Costumes welcome! — Starts at $25 Friday, September 26 | $30 Friday, October 3 | $35 Friday, October 10 | $40 - Be on time! We stop selling tickets shortly after the show starts. - For food: we’ll have pizza and our usual items in the concession stand. - We stop selling alcohol at 2am, so plan accordingly and responsibly. - We’ll be serving free coffee throughout the night. - We advise dressing comfortably! Think of it like a pajama party for grownups. Bring a blanket, snuggie, pillow, whatever puts you in the drone-zone. - We’ll have breaks in between the features, so plenty of time to stretch and use the bathroom. We might start earlier if everyone is feeling ready. - The marathon will end close to 5am (subject to change) - Be cool! We will kick you out if you are unruly and a disturbance to others (NO REFUNDS). - NO SMOKING (No vapes, joints, cigarettes — nothing). - As always, no phone use during the shows. TIPS & TRICKS - You are encouraged to bring your own toiletries (toothbrush, floss, etc.). - Stay hydrated! We have a fancy bottle filler fountain near the bathrooms and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages for sale behind the bar. - If you need anything please ask a member of staff!! — Justin LaLiberty is the Director of Operations of OCN Distribution and the Co-Founder/Curator of Cinématographe.
