FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When do y'all open?
We open every day 30 minutes before the first showtime. Please see the calendar for details.
How much are tickets?
They vary depending on the event, but generally they are:
$16.49 Adults/Evening
$13.50 Matinee/Children/Senior/Military
$20/25 for 35/70mm
$10 for Discount Day*
*Every Wednesday for regular programming, special events/film shows are excluded.
How do I buy a ticket? I don't see an option on the event page.
Unless it’s a special event, showtimes for most programming goes live the Monday prior. Please check back then!
What ages do your child/senior ticket reflect?
12 & younger for kids and 65 and older for seniors!
Can I bring my pet to the Plaza?
We love cats, dogs and critters: but unless they're a service animal, please keep them safe at home.
Can I get a refund? I can’t make it for x/y/z…
If the request is made before the showing, then yes! We advise making an account when you’re purchasing your ticket. This way you can log in anytime before the show and manage your order. If you need further help, please reach out to info@plazaatlanta.com. Lastly, we cannot accommodate a refund after the show has passed, so please plan accordingly.
If an extraneous circumstance forces us to cancel (weather, power, invasion, etc.), we will send out a notification with credit or digital ticket vouchers.
Can I drop off a flyer?
We have a small table for community postcards. Wall space is otherwise sparse, so we mainly reserve frames for Plaza-affiliated events. Please ask a staff member before leaving any material.
How do I reserve seats?
We’re an old school theatre that operates on a first-come-first-serve seating. We suggest coming in early, especially if your show is in the smaller Mike or Rej auditoriums.
I saw the show was sold out! Do you have any extra tickets?
For special events, we typically have a standby line in the event that not every ticketholder shows up. This does not guarantee you a seat, but chances are there's usually a couple of no shows.
Are you hiring? I love the Plaza!
Not at this time, but you are welcome to email us your resume at info@plazaatlanta.com
How can I learn about certain content in your programming?
We use the MPAA rating system and genre to help guide patrons. That said, our programming covers a wide range of audiences. We try to include language in the description when necessary, but it’s otherwise advised to do your own research if you’re concerned about certain content (
doesthedogdie.com is great for this!).
Can I talk, text and smoke during the show?
Nope! The cinema is for watching movies — anything else is just disruptive. We ask folks to silence & stow their phones, and keep their conversations for after the show. You’ll get a warning at first, but if it continues you may be asked to leave without a refund.
Can I rent your theatre for my birthday/corporate event?
Absolutely! Please fill out the form
here and we’ll get back to you.
If I purchase a custom marquee message, can we schedule a time for a photo op?
We hear ya, but generally no. That purchase only guarantees the message is up long enough for our staff to take a photo for you. This is because the marquee is in constant flux, and requires a fair amount of labor to manage, so it works best in the flow of regular changeover. That said, we love to accommodate when we can, but it’s best to assume otherwise.
Could I schedule a time for a proposal/photo op in the theatre? It’ll be quick!
Similar to above: probably, no. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes and between the shows. Your best bet is to reach out and ask, but consider
renting.
I think I misplaced something. Do you have a lost & found bin?
Yes! Please email us with a description and probable location. Better yet, come by and look around when we open. Please revisit the website for times between movies, as we cannot search during a show (only if it's in an auditorium).
